Kimeron Hardin, PhD, ABPP, FACHP

Dr. Hardin is a licensed clinical psychologist and Board-Certified clinical health psychologist with 34 years of experience in the field of chronic pain management. He received his bachelor's degree at the University of North Carolina a Chapel Hill and his PhD from the University of Southern Mississippi. His clinical internship was through the department of Psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center on the Combined Medical Specialties Unit where he received his early training in pain medicine. Dr. Hardin was the Director of Behavioral Medicine and Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California at San Francisco/Mount Zion Pain Management Center form 1995-2000. He was also an adjunct faculty for the Stanford University Medical Center Pain Management Center from 2007-2009.  Over the years, Dr. Hardin has helped develop multiple functional restoration programs across the United States and was the co-author of "The Chronic Pain Control Workbook, Second Edition," one of the first self-help books for living with chronic pain.  In 2010, he co-founded the American Association of Pain Psychology (AAPP), the first organization of its kind providing advanced training for mental health and pain professionals.  Dr. Hardin is past president of AAPP and serves on the board.  He is currently the Clinical Director for the Spine Pain, Arthritis and Rehabilitation Center (SPARC) multidisciplinary functional restoration program in San Mateo, California, where he has worked for the past 13 years in addition to running a busy private practice in clinical psychology.
